On November 11th 2016, in occasion of the 20th anniversary of the activities of the Local Democracy Agency of Brtonigla-Verteneglio, the annual assembly has been organized in the city of Bellinzona (Switzerland) which is also the leader partner of the Association. It was held in the Hall of the City Council inside of the Town Hall of Bellinzona which was given at our disposal by the Mayor of the city Mario Branda and the Honourable Dario Ghisletta. At the event were present all the partners of the LDA that supported the Agency since its foundation in 1996. The assembly was leaded by the President of the LDA, Mr. Umberto Ademollo and the Honorable Dario Ghisletta who officially opened the session. During the celebration, the Mayor of the city of Bellinzona, took a moment to acknowledge and praise the work and effort that the LDA did through the years of activities and gave a thoughtful speech about what Democracy really means and the values that it’s carrying. Additionally, the Project Manager, Eric Persel gave an exhaustive and in-depth presentation on the activities and initiatives held by the Local Democracy Agency in the past year, the changes and improvements that occurred which was aimed to develop the LDA and help the local community.
