The project aimed to spread information about European Union, its policies, programmes and financial instruments in high schools, among youngsters (from 19 to 26 years old) and in civil society groups within the Regions involved (Istria, Sisačko-Moslavačka and Osječko-Baranjska). The final objective was to make citizens aware of the benefits of EU enlargement and supportive of Croatia entering the EU, as well as to encourage the participation of young citizens in the construction of a new Europe by creating a better informed public. Accordingly, a cycle of seminars was held in the schools and in the youth associations of the Regions involved. At the end of the third seminar a questionnaire (the EU Quiz) was distributed in order to choose the 30 participants for the future Action’s activities, in particular for the 6 days EU camp.  During this 6 day experience, the selected youngsters were provided with basic information on the EU institutions, their functioning and competencies, on the funds and possibilities for Croatia. Furthermore, participants prepared a questionnaire covering some important topics like mobility, employment and education to be distributed to the youngsters aged between 16 and 26 during several meetings held by the participants in high schools and youth associations. The answers to the questions became integral part of the document “The Voice of Youth” which was distributed to respective politicians as a way to express the willingness to establish a positive dialogue between young generations and policy-makers. The achievements of the project were augumented through harnessing local press, radio and television. This project accomplished the creation of a more aware and active young public capable of sensitising peers.
