On the 21st of September we took part in the European Day of Sustainable Communities in Umag along the Center of Inclusion of Buje and other local associations.
The European Day of Sustainable Communities was celebrated for the second time in many communities across Europe to promote environmental awareness. Lately, climate change and consequently environmental-friendly living has been brought into the public eye more than ever before, so we were encouraged to contribute to the community-led action on sustainablility too.
Therefore, we offered to recycle old, unused bottles by transforming them into plant pots or pen holders. The outcome was really nice and especiallly liked by the youngest ones.
