On the 12th of December 2018 we visited the Italian High school in Buje. The presentation was focused on Erasmus+ and its projects like European Voluntary Service and the Youth Exchange.
Students met our Italian volunteer and discussed with her about her decision to come in Istria, her experience as a volunteer of LDA and the challenges she has faced here, living with people from different cultures.
The main goal of our visit was to explain them the possibilities they have if they want to go abroad, to make an experience that can improve their education and an experience that can help them to understand what to do in their future. Erasmus+ is a chance for a long life education and could be a break for choose the future.
Erasmus is expecting some changes and with these changes came European Solidarity Corps, so, programs like Youth Exchange and EVS will be moved. European Solidarity Corps has also a completely new way to sign up for EVS as a volunteer.
